It’s easy, almost too easy, to become apathetic with Christianity. To fall into a ritual and think that by just following a routine we’re good with God but that’s not how God sees it.

In this verse the people of Israel have backslidden in their faith and are proclaiming that God approves of their sinful behavior and that He should be saving them from the nature consequences of their sin. But, for God to do that would go against the righteous justice and purity that He stands for. That is why we have to not only have a consistent prayer life but to be growing in our faith throughout our lives.

I hope this gave you a new perspective and insight on faith.

Until next time!
